About Hong Kong

Hong Kong is one of the world's most dynamic cities — a former British colony that was returned to China in 1997. East meets West here: Taoist temples stand alongside glass skyscrapers, and street food markets sit next to Michelin-starred restaurants.

Hong Kong is a global centre for shopping and gastronomy. A city of more than 1,100 islands where you can ride to Victoria Peak, travel on the historic double-decker tram, and sample some of Asia's finest dim sum — all without a visa.

AMIST tour operator arranges group and individual tours to Hong Kong departing from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Direct flights, Russian-speaking guides, and thoroughly vetted hotels.

How to get there

A direct flight from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Hong Kong takes approximately 4 hours. Connecting routes via Vladivostok or Seoul are also available.

AMIST tour operator handles the selection and booking of flights at the best available fares, including charter flights during peak season. We will find a convenient departure time and the most suitable routing.

Airport Express — a high-speed rail link from the airport to Central station in 24 minutes. The fastest and most convenient way to reach the city centre.

Express buses to the main districts (routes A11, A21) and taxis are also available. We recommend purchasing Octopus card — a universal transit card accepted for transport, retail purchases, and food.

MTR (metro) — Hong Kong's primary transit network: clean, fast, and air-conditioned. It serves virtually every district of the city and the New Territories.

Double-decker trams — an emblem of Hong Kong, running along the northern shore of Hong Kong Island. A fare of just HKD 3 makes them an excellent sightseeing option in their own right.

Star Ferry — the legendary ferry between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon across Victoria Harbour. One of the world's most rewarding water crossings at a nominal fare.

All modes of transport are conveniently paid for Octopus card.

What our travellers say

★★★★★

Victoria Peak at sunset is extraordinary — the entire city glows below. And the dim sum at the restaurant our guide recommended was the finest we have ever had. Thank you, AMIST!

Shopping in Hong Kong is a genuine pleasure. Everything was perfectly organised: transfers, a centrally located hotel, and a guide who knew every worthwhile spot. We will certainly return.

Irina and Andrei K. Hong Kong Classic, December 2025

The Hong Kong + Macau combination is an ideal choice. In one week we experienced two entirely different worlds. The casinos in Macau are impressive, and Hong Kong is a city in a class of its own.

Viktor P. Hong Kong + Macao, October 2025

We booked a VIP tour with a private guide. The level of service exceeded every expectation. Dinner on the 118th floor of the ICC overlooking the bay was an experience in itself.
