How can I get to Sakhalin by air?

The main airport of Sakhalin is Khomutovo (UUS), located 8 km from the centre of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Direct flights are operated from Moscow (approximately 8 hours), Vladivostok (2.5 hours), and Khabarovsk (2 hours). Connecting routes through major Far Eastern hubs are also available.

Which airlines fly to Sakhalin?

Regular flights are operated by Aeroflot, Rossiya, Aurora, and S7 Airlines. Aurora also provides inter-island flights to the Kuril Islands and new international flights to Beijing.
