Pearl of the East — futuristic skyscrapers, ancient gardens and China's finest street food

What we can arrange

About Shanghai

Shanghai is China's largest city and one of the world's foremost metropolises. The colonial architecture of The Bund stands alongside the futuristic skyscrapers of the Pudong district, while centuries-old teahouses rise in the shadow of glass towers.

Shanghai is a city of contrasts: in the morning you walk through the 16th-century Yu Garden, in the afternoon you ascend the 632-metre Shanghai Tower, and in the evening you try xiaolongbao — the celebrated soup dumplings — in the lanes of the French Concession. A city with over 700 years of history that nonetheless sets the trends for the future.

AMIST tour operator arranges group and individual tours to Shanghai departing from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Convenient flight connections, Russian-speaking guides and tried-and-tested hotels in the city centre.

Zhujiajiao is a wonderful place — quiet canals, ancient bridges, the complete opposite of Shanghai's relentless pace. I would strongly recommend this excursion.
