Phu Quoc — Pearl of Vietnam: 10-day island escape
Book this tour турAbout the tour
Phu Quoc sits at the southern tip of Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand — an island of white-sand beaches, coral gardens, and plantation hills. AMIST has run charter departures here since 2018, giving Sakhalin guests a direct, hassle-free passage to genuinely warm water. Ten days covers the island’s breadth and still leaves unhurried afternoons on the beach.
Day-by-day
Days 1–2 — Arrival and Long Beach. Charter from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (connection in Vladivostok or Moscow); transfer to your 4-star resort on Long Beach, the island’s main western strip. Free afternoon; sunset from the shoreline.
Day 3 — An Thoi Archipelago snorkelling. Full-day boat trip to the 15-island southern chain: three coral-reef stops, a glass-bottom section for those who prefer to stay dry, beach lunch on a sandbar.
Day 4 — Pepper Walk and wildlife sanctuary. Morning at the island’s conservation park. Afternoon: guided walk through Cửa Cạn pepper village — tasting fresh-ground pepper at the farm gate, the oldest crop on the island.
Day 5 — Free beach day. Kayaks, paddleboards, or a hammock in the casuarinas. Optional resort cooking class: Phu Quoc fish soup and spring rolls.
Day 6 — Fish-sauce heritage. Half-day in Dương Đông’s Nước Mắm district — three-century-old barrel-fermentation cellars; tasting from the mildest grade to restaurant first-press. Afternoon at Dương Đông market.
Day 7 — Ham Ninh village and sunset cruise. Morning visit to the island’s oldest fishing settlement on the eastern shore, unchanged since the 19th century. Evening: private Gulf of Thailand sunset cruise with grilled seafood on deck.
Day 8 — Sao Beach and Khem Beach. The island’s two finest white-sand beaches on the southern tip — one for swimming, one for shade. Picnic lunch in the grove between them.
Days 9–10 — Dương Đông and departure. Final morning at the market; optional spa. Farewell dinner at a pier seafood restaurant. Checkout and return charter to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

Why we run it
Phu Quoc was largely undeveloped when AMIST first sent a group here. Development has arrived, but the island is large enough that the fishing villages, spice farms, and quieter southern beaches remain. Our guests from Sakhalin deserve a direct, guided path to one of Southeast Asia’s last unhurried island destinations — and everything is arranged before they board the plane in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
