Book this tour турAbout the tour
Twelve days and a country that rewards patience at every stop — from Hanoi's old quarter to the Mekong Delta, with the limestone fleet of Halong, the Nguyen citadel at Hue and Hoi An's lantern streets in between.
Day-by-day
Days 1–3 Hanoi. Arrival transfer, Old Quarter walks, Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, a water-puppet theatre evening, and a slow coffee at the Train Street.
Days 4–5 Halong Bay. Transfer to the port, overnight on a classic junk. Kayaks into the hidden karst caves, a sunrise tai-chi deck session for guests who want it, fresh seafood every meal.
Days 6–7 Hue and Hoi An. Short flight to central Vietnam. The Imperial Citadel at Hue, cyclo through the Forbidden City remains, then over the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. Tailor fittings, the Japanese Bridge at dusk, a lantern-lit river cruise.
Days 8–9 Nha Trang (optional swap for Da Nang beaches). Internal flight south for two coastal days — mud-spring spa, Po Nagar Cham towers, optional scuba.
Days 10–11 Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta. Flight south. Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum (heavy but necessary), a full day in the Delta with sampan, floating market and a canal-side Vietnamese lunch.
Day 12 Departure. Morning shopping, transfer to the airport.

Why we run it
AMIST has been bundling charter air with a local partner network in Vietnam since the mid-2000s. The North-to-South arc is the most requested format — a proper sampling of the country rather than a single coast — and we refine the pacing every season based on guest feedback. Our guides in each city grew up there.
